Update (12/6, 6:14pm): That was quick. Parliament says tickets sold out in 4 minutes.

Update (12/6, 6:11pm) Pecha Kucha tickets are on sale now. Get’em while they’re hot.

Full of rebellion and fresh off finals, Pecha Kucha will celebrate its sweet sixteen like any other teen would, with a craft queen, a combat photographer, and an urban designer.

Charleston creative collective Parliament announced the line-up for Pecha Kucha 16 on Wednesday, a wide-ranging set of familiar faces for City Paper readers will take the stage on December 12 (that’s 12/12/12, keep up.)

Perennial City Paper Music Award-winning jazz musician Charlton Singleton will present on behalf of Jazz Artists of Charleston along with combat camera veteran and Charleston Center for Photography owner Stacey Pearsall, Chsbeer.org beer geeks Timmons Pettigrew and Chrys Rynearson, Fabric Urban Design founder Jacob Lindsey, SpaceCraft’s Allison Merrick, Stacy Huggins of The Art Mag, Clementine Bikes co-creator David Lee, and Rhett Boyd of Rogue Wave Surf Shop.

Writer and past PK speaker Jenny Badman will take the wheel as the show’s emcee. Come for the great slate of speakers and stay for the booze from Palmetto Brewery and food-truck goodness from Outta My Huevos.

Keep your eyes peeled for more details, because as always, tickets to #PKchs will go fast when they go on sale next Thursday, Dec. 6.
