When you live in a city like Charleston, you don’t need to leave for vacation. So instead of letting those tourists soak up all the fun, why not join in yourself? And wouldn’t it be nice to find a great hotel deal that caters to locals to make sure it feels like an actual vacation and help leave the day-to-day worries and annoyances behind?

Charming Inns thought so too and is offering three different staycation packages at downtown locations for locals only. Residents of Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties will have the opportunity to participate in these special discounts at Wentworth Mansion, John Rutledge House Inn, and Kings Courtyard Inn.

The Wentworth Mansion package includes a three-course dinner for two at Circa 1886 along with one night in a mansion room, including breakfast, afternoon wine, and hors d’ouevres. This package is priced from $349/night, and dinner is not available on Sundays.

The John Rutledge House Inn offer also includes a three-course dinner for two at Circa 1886. Beyond dinner, it comprises a one night stay in a standard room with breakfast and afternoon tea. This deal begins at $299/night.

Kings Courtyard Inn gives out a $30 gift card to Kitchen 208 along with a one-night stay in a standard room with continental breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese in their deal. This package is priced from $169/night.

Can’t decide which deal to pick? Charming Inns’ Linn Lesesne says, “You can try one or you can try all three. This is a great opportunity to get a night off from the kids and enjoy a night at one of these historical locations for a very discounted price.”

All packages are based on availability. The Wentworth Mansion deal runs through Aug. 29, and the Kings Courtyard and John Rutledge House packages are available from July 29 to Aug. 29.
