‘Tis the season for holiday carols, a few precious days out of the office, and breaking boards with family and friends. That’s right, and Nikki Haley has been getting into the holiday spirit.
Recently, the governor earned her stripes and was awarded a real black belt after breaking an honorary piece of wood, according to a video posted to her YouTube account. Wait, strike that; reverse it.
The heel of Haley’s open hand appeared to glide effortlessly through the middle of a small wooden board with such precision that it broke cleanly in two places. With the balsa bully out of the way, the good governor raised her arms above her head in celebration.
“That was awesome,” Haley remarked.
