It’s the question everyone’s been asking for the past few days, and local web developer Sean McCambridge was sick of hearing it. Just kidding, we don’t know if he’s that easily annoyed or not. In any case, McCambridge says he made the site Tuesday night when it was still open (hence the question, “Is it closed?”), and has been keeping close tabs on the Great White Ravenel for the past few days, ready to flip the switch once SCDOT gave the go-ahead.
For now, McCambridge says he’s got it wired up to change via email if he’s away from his internet box, but he’s playing with some interesting ways to have it automated via SCDOT digital board feeds.
