Local Southern soulsters Dead 27s joined up with this week with Charlotte, N.C.-based Intrepid Artists International. The boutique agency represents a range of artists like Ori Naftaly Band, Orgone, and Nikki Hill.

Sol Driven Train bassist Rusty Cole manages The Dead 27s now and helped them expand outside their local fanbase. โ€œHe reached out to Intrepid and they caught a show in Asheville, NC, which led to them offering us a chance to work with them,โ€ drummer Daniel Crider tells us. โ€œWe are thrilled and honored to be on the roster with the other artists that are on Intrepid.โ€

So what now? โ€œThe next step is that we will be hitting the road hard come spring. We have a great team assembled to move forward,โ€ Crider says. โ€œIn the meantime, we are writing and rehearsing new material and finishing our the fall schedule. Itโ€™s a very exciting time for us.โ€
