Charleston County began accepting same-sex marriage license applications this morning, saying it was “required” to comply with actions taken by the Supreme Court of the United States on Monday of this week.

Since issuing marriage licenses is handled by individual counties in South Carolina, we’re tracking which counties are accepting applications from same-sex couples. Check back as it’s updated.
