While it looks like we still have a few months to go before Austin, TX’s John Lewis officially opens his Lewis Barbecue at 464 N. Nassau St., in the meantime the brisket boss is familiarizing himself with the neighborhood with a Summer Barbecue Series. Beginning at noon each Saturday this summer starting June 6, the pitmaster will serve his signature fare — “Texas hot guts” sausage and foie-gras-tender beef brisket — at Revelry Brewing.
In a press release Lewis says, “I’m really excited to work with the guys at Revelry to create a true Texas barbecue experience. Guests will line up at the smoker and we’ll serve everything on butcher paper. It’s going to taste even better when paired with a Revelry beer!”
