If you’re feeling lonely, it’s time to stop swiping right on Tinder and wise up on the dating world with South Carolina native and comedian Aziz Ansari’s first book Modern Romance. Take your dating skills to the next level by listening to the love guru himself, because Ansari’s book tour will be making an appearance in the Holy City on Sat. July 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sottile Theatre.
And while the funny man may crack a few jokes, show-goers shouldn’t expect stand-up. Instead, the event will be set-up as more conversational with a moderator where Ansari will discuss Modern Romance and the sociological perspective co-author Eric Klinenberg brought to the pages.
Tickets are $52 and the price includes a copy of Modern Romance. Anyone who purchases a ticket to the event should head to Blue Bicycle Books starting June 16 to pick up their copy.
