All around the world, let’s rejoice, because it’s time roll on over to O-Ku and Caviar and Bananas to celebrate International Sushi Day on Thurs., June 18. O-Ku will have executive chef Thad Stuckey cooking up specials, based on the catch-of-the-day, all-day long for lunch and dinner.

And the fish aren’t going to be the only thing that’s fresh at Caviar & Bananas. The gourmet market and café is launching a new sushi menu, featuring over a dozen hand-crafted rolls and accompaniments. Brand new fin favorites like Crispy Crab & Coconut Roll with coconut fried crab and peanut red curry sauce, Salmon Citrus Roll with shaved jalapeno and lime sauce, and Shrimp Pad Thai Roll will all be available. And Caviar & Bananas hasn’t forgotten about their vegan and vegetarian costumers. Options such as Tofu & Veggie Roll with soy baked tofu and the Vietnamese Summer Roll will be available for herbivores-alike.

Sushi Ninja LLC at Oak Barrel will be offering 20 percent off the entire menu.
