Charleston Americana group Sideshow Americans recently completed tracking the band’s five-song debut EP.

Members Ryan Bonner, Dan Wright, Whitt Algar, and Cory Jarrett recorded the as-yet-untitled album at Fairweather Studio on Johns Island with owner/engineer Omar Colon.

Bonner describes the EP as having “a strong focus on lyrical songwriting and heavy on vocal harmonies.”

The record is currently getting mixed in Nashville by former Charlestonian and Slow Runner guitarist Josh Kaler, and a release is slated for late fall.

The Sideshow Americans will perform at the Honeysmoke album-release show on Thurs. Sept. 17 at the Pour House.
