Tis the season to close for restaurant renovations. With the January lull many places are taking the opportunity to give their premises a spit-shine. Here are the details on who is closed and for how long:
The Junction: Park Circle cafe The Junction will be shuttered now through Wed. Jan 13.
Edmund’s Oast: is closed for the week for minor improvements including fixes to the bar and tiling near the bathroom. Edmund’s will reopen on Mon. Jan. 11.
Cru Cafe: will be closed through Tues. Jan. 12 for its yearly renovations.
Cypress: will be closed Jan. 4-17.
FIG: The Meeting Street restaurant is getting a facelift beginning Jan. 10 through the first of February.
Leon’s Oyster Shop: will be closed Jan. 11-13 to redo its kitchen floors.
‘Wich Doctor: Folly sandwich shop the Wich Doctor will be closed for six weeks starting today, Jan. 5. But rather than renovations, owner and chef Jeff Butler will be undergoing heart surgery and is taking the time off to recuperate.
