[image-1]Tennis is back at Volvo Car Stadium and this Sat. April 1 you can take in a week full of tennis leading up to the largest all-women’s tournament in North America. Opening night has something pretty special too — the PowerShares Series, featuring world-renowned tennis pros John McEnroe, Andy Roddick, James Blake, and Mark Philippoussis.

Starting at 7 p.m. the four players will match up in two semifinals, with the winners meeting in a championship match. Tickets range from $25-$75.

If you can’t make it to this special event, there’s still plenty of tennis going down with the annual WTA tournament underway through April 9. In addition to the matches among the over 100 women athletes, the Volvo Car Open features family weekend, April 1-2, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., with kids’ activities like face painting and jump castles and free admission to children under age 15. Every night April 4-8 Volvo Car Stadium hosts happy hour from 4-7 p.m. Check out all of the special events online.
