[embed-1]Local party crew The Get Down plans to turn the empty warehouse next to Pancito & Lefty into the city’s hottest nightclub for just one night, and it’s this Sun. August 6. The Get Down is the brainchild of The Belmont’s head bartender Joey Goetz, who partners with local DJs and restaurants to throw pop-up club-vibe parties.

There’s a perhaps intentional lack of information about The Get Down online, but according to their Instagram page, it’s all about the “love of music, art, sex, and vibes.” We can get down with that.

You can also eek out a bit more info by following Get Down partners Sean Money and Elizabeth Fay on social media. The two not only take gorgeous wedding and engagement photos, but capture some pretty edgy shit at the various iterations of The Get Down. Check out all their ish on the ‘gram.

The upcoming event, entitled Milk, will feature live music from DJs Auntie Ayi, Radio Land, Mummbls, and Black Olive and “trashy Asian takeout food” from Pancito & Lefty from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.

The $5 cover proceeds benefit Lowcountry AIDS Services, and drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.
