[image-1] [image-4]When Chef Robert Stehling announced the end of his dinner service last month it came with the promise of a menu redux and now we have a first look at what Hominy’s James Beard Award-winning chef has developed.
Stehling’s new menu offers breakfast all day with new additions like four different grit bowls which Stehling says are already a win — “especially the one with pork belly. No surprises there,” he adds.
The pimento cheese biscuit and sweet potato waffle have also been early successes and Stehling says on the whole folks are just happy to be able to get breakfast until the restaurant closes at 3 p.m.
Of course it’s not all breakfast eats. Stehling has fleshed out the menu with some of his classic, heartier fare — Lowcountry Shrimp Bog, sauteed chicken livers, and slow smoked pork shoulder included.
The beloved Hominy sides are all there still too. And don’t worry, you can still order the Charleston Nasty Biscuit all day, everyday.
