That Alton Brown is a busy man. After tracking his restaurant whereabouts this weekend when the Food Network host hit up Leon’s, Bar Normandy, and The Darling, last night he struck again, and it was a two-fer.
Brown visited not just Xiao Bao Biscuit but also XBB owners Joshua Walker, Joey Ryan, and Duolan Li’s latest project, Tu restaurant.
According to Chef Walker, “He had the whole menu at Xiao Bao and then crudo and shaved ice at Tu.”
Perhaps Brown’s extended visit might mean his love affair with the Lowcountry is becoming more official. Could a 29401 zip code be in his future? We’ll let you know what we find out.
