In a show that describes itself as equal parts “haha and aha!”, Stand Up Science with Shane Mauss heads to Theatre 99 this Sat. March 9 at 5 p.m.
The evening features sets from comedian and podcast host Shane Mauss as well as College of Charleston professors Gabrielle Principe and Isaure de Buron and comedian Dave Waite. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online.
Mauss opens the evening with material on brainy topics, followed by the evening’s special guests.
Principe, a professor of psychology at the College, studies social cognitive development with a focus on factors that affect autobiographical remembering and misremembering in young children.
Buron, a professor of parasitology, researches parasites on aquatic animals, who they are, and how they impact their hosts.
