Partnering with Lowcountry Oyster Co., Firefly Distillery is hosting a BYO shuckers Oyster & Seafood Food Truck Festival on Sat. Dec. 4 from 12-5 p.m.
The event is open to the public and free for all ages. For $25, however, guests can purchase an all-you-can-eat oyster ticket from Lowcountry Oyster Co. to shuck as many oysters as your shucker can handle. Don’t have one? Oyster knives and gloves will be available at Firefly’s gift shop for additional purchase.
In addition to the oysters, Chucktown Mobile Seafood Cafe, & Lobster, Flight, and Tamashii food trucks, as well as Miss Katie’s Sweets will be on-site all day, providing non-oyster eats for guests who don’t shuck.
From 1-4 p.m., Super Reggae Man will be performing live music on the Front Porch of the distillery.
Beer, wine and Firefly cocktails will be available for purchase, as well as a Bloody Mary bar and samples of Tommy’s Bloody Mary mix.
The event is rain or shine, and guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, chairs, tables and pets to spread out on the 4 acre field. Parking is limited onsite.
