Palmetto Moon, a longtime Lowcountry lifestyle brand, is celebrating 20 years by partnering with Charlestonโs oldest working distillery, Firefly Distillery at 4201 Spruill Ave on May 14 from 12-6 p.m.
โWhen Palmetto Moon approached us about collaborating on their 20th anniversary party, we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate,โ said Scott Newitt, co-founder of Firefly Distillery. โBringing two iconic southern brands together with an afternoon of live music and craft cocktails is what weโre all about.โ
The ticketed celebration will feature live music, craft cocktails, limited edition spirits, a YETI-sponsored โchill loungeโ and a Palmetto Moon pop-up shop. Music kicks off at 12:30 by local funk duo KODA, followed by Gritty Flyright and country artist Lauren Hall, with Randall Fowler headlining and closing out the night.
Part of the celebration includes a limited release of Fireflyโs Sweet Tea Vodka, sporting Palmetto Moonโs colors and logo. The limited edition bottle is available starting May 14 until sold out.
“We’re so honored to celebrate this milestone with our hometown community as Palmetto Moon marks two decades of incredible growth across the Southeast,โ said Palmetto Moon EVP, Chief Brand Officer Amber Dube. โWe look forward to thanking the friends and neighbors who have supported us from the beginning as part of this special anniversary celebration at Firefly Distillery, and are committed to preserving the brandโs authentic reflection of Southern lifestyle and elevated shopping experience in the exciting years ahead.”
Tickets for the event are $15 for ages 10 and up, with additional purchase options of food truck fare, specialty craft cocktails and beer throughout the event. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to sit out on Fireflyโs open field. Palmetto Moonโs pop-up shop will have those items available for purchase.
