Happy Super Bowl Week to all who celebrate (yes, even you pesky Eagles and Chiefs fans). While your team may not be in the game this weekend, you can still celebrate all things sports with good eats and drinks throughout the Lowcountry.

Here’s where to watch around the area.  (This list is far from exhaustive — be sure to check your favorite watering hole’s social media for their deals.) Also, find where to order takeout or pick up snacks if you’re kicking it at home:

Great places to watch the big game

  • New Spring Street bar By The Way features multiple TVs and “elevated fare” for those looking for fancier bar food, like fried oysters topped with caviar. Delightful!
  • Share House (downtown) will offer drink specials and live music during the game.
  • Catch the game from every angle at Uptown Social (downtown) which has 40 TVs and four projector screens.
  • Bumpa’s (downtown) has four TVs with audio and plenty of bar bites like wings, pretzels with beer cheese and Scotch eggs.
  • The Matador (downtown) celebrates the Super Bowl with all-day happy hour deals and to-go specials. The happy hour menu includes dishes like grande nachos and street tacos starting at $7 and to-go specials include a super dip flight and a double-sized batch of take-and-bake nachos.
  • Bay Street Biergarten (downtown) will host a big game watch party Sunday, including a free, pre-game oyster roast at noon.
  • It’s the last week to take advantage of gameday food and drink specials at Red’s Ice House (Shem Creek), which include $5 Twisted Teas and bites like cornhusker ribs.
  • Mount Pleasant’s The Basement (which features 14 arcade games for folks looking for more than just sports watching) will feature food specials from both Philly and Kansas City.
  • The Peacock (downtown) will host a ticketed Super Bowl watch party with specialty cocktails, 13 foot screens with movie theater sound and more. Snag tickets online.
  • Cleats (downtown) will offer several food specials during the Super Bowl including super subs (which feed 3-4 people), wings and “fat dawg platters,” featuring a variety of hot dogs.

  • Rancho Lewis has some pre-order specials, too, including lemon garlic and hatch red chile wings and chips and dips packages.
  • Grab gameday specials from provisions shop Petit Merci (downtown) Feb. 6 and Feb. 7. Dishes include take-and-bake Italian grinders, pigs in a blanket, buffalo chicken dip, white chicken chili and Chiefs and Eagles cookies.
