Farmers Market fiends, take note. Due to the nearby street closures and need for additional parking due to public assembly associated with Mother Emanuel commemoration events, the Charleston Farmers Market, held every Saturday in Marion Square, will operate with limited hours this weekend.
There will only be 18 produce and perishable food vendors onsite, and the market will run from 8 a.m.-noon. The normal Farmers Market schedule resumes Sat. June 25.
