Apparently, we should count ourselves lucky we skipped the event.
This had to be the worst parade I have ever seen. It felt like a 3 hour long commercial. Out of all the people going by, you could count with your fingers the actual decorated floats or local bands playing. Ninety percent of it was cars with personal advertisement on it. I could have been more creative in my garage. Even the last float with Santa on it reflects the down turning economy. Santa on a bare float sitting on a chair hardly decorated. Not even worth taking a picture! And to top the hours of boredom, the kids went home empty handed. NO CANDY FOR THEM WAS THROWN OUT! Very very disappointed Mr. Riley.
