Jimbo’s Rock Lounge will host the first in a series of Outsiders Art Shows this weekend, hoping to bring attention to local artists with a progressive view that otherwise may not be seen. The Outsiders will represent struggling artists, many who are young and not afraid to step outside the box.

Along with these "Outsiders" gaining light, The Comic Strip Art Show held at The Mill on Saturday. It will showcase artworks inspired by the original comic books and and comic strips. Many of the artworks are set-up like a comic strip, designed in different panels lined up side by side. The show is from 8-11 p.m.
