We all have that friend that’s just a little too stoked about Christmas. When the weather drops below 75, all the pumpkins have been smashed, and the Halloween costumes have been cleaned of puke, these cheerful elf-lovers put a Yankee Candle balsam-and-cedar air-freshener in their car and a Christmas wreath on their front bumper. Man, those people are annoying.

But the folks at Y102.5 have heard their prayers. Last week, Y102.5 began playing Christmas music, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Wham’s “Last Christmas”? Got it. Mariah’s “All I Want for Christmas is You”? Obviously. McCartney’s annoying synth and children’s choir-driven “Wonderful Christmastime”? Let’s not talk about it. Y102.5 will be playing them all and more for the next six weeks so you have some time to get in the holiday spirit and quit being a grinch like us.
