The City of Charleston has opened parking garages downtown for free until 6 p.m. Sunday.
The City Market will be closed Friday and Saturday due to the risk of extreme flooding.
The Citadel, College of Charleston, MUSC, Charleston School of Law, Charleston Southern and Trident Technical College classes are canceled Friday. The South Carolina Aquarium will remain closed Friday and Saturday.
The SAT testing center at Wando High School will be also be closed on Oct. 3, and the SAT administration has been postponed until Oct. 17. Students are advised to access their SAT account to update their registration.
