MORNING NEWSBREAK | Early voting for South Carolina’s June primaries ends 5 p.m. Friday. Or you can vote 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, June 11.
“Any voter can cast a ballot ahead of election day without an excuse,” Isaac Cramer, executive director of the Charleston County Board of Voter Registration and Elections, told the Charleston City Paper in May. “It’s best to be ready to vote before you cast your ballot, so you have no issues when you go to vote.”
Voters can head to the polls any day this week from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Voters must bring their identification or voter registration card with a photo just as they would on a typical election day. Charleston County offers three early voting locations — in North Charleston, West Ashley and Mount Pleasant.
